I definitely wanted to share this one. As authors, we should very much want to hear ALL the feedback on our work. The "greats", "wonderfuls", and "awesomes", but also the "well, this part could have been betters".
I truly appreciate Randi-Lee Bowslaugh's review of the first book in the series. And overall, she was very complimentary (character building, world building, story building, pace, and visual description - most of the major categories in my mind). It was the book's ending for her - and that is something else as authors we need to understand: Not everyone is going to like the ending.
Having said that, I really do believe that if Randi-Lee does read "Rune of Renewal", she (and other readers that might have raised an eyebrow at the ending) will like where the story goes after "Runes of the Dokkrsdottir". It's a series, after all, and the first book is only the beginning of the story.
